We're halfway there already!

Our summer is flying bye! We are already at the midway point of summer camp which is hard to believe. I decided to go back to the summer camp that I worked at last year and decided to take the whole family with me. Joe took a position as a counselor and the girls are enjoying being campers. It has been a great summer thus far despite the rainy weather that we have had to deal with.

Our first week was "Animal Planet" and we took a trip down to Gray to the Maine Wildlife Park. We were there last year as well but, it is a great place to go and a fun field trip.

The second week of camp was "A Holiday Palooza". We had Merry Giggles the clown come for a visit. For our field trip that week we were suppose to go to the water park in Waterville...but, the rain forced us to go to the movies instead. The kids still had a great time despite the rain.

We also got a day off that week as we had Friday July 3rd off. We enjoyed the weekend at China Lake with many friends and family. The weather wasn't all that bad either.

Week 3 of Camp was "A Day in the Knight". We also added two people to our family for the week. Josie our niece came to stay with us as well as our French exchange student Livia. We had a great week together. Aubrey and Payton loved having them here. We had a great field trip to Lake George in Canaan as well as a visit from the Neville Company.

We loved having the additions to our family this week!

The girls and I took Josie home and spent the weekend at my parents. The kids all had a great time swimming and tubing on the lake. I got to see too of my wonderful friends as well.

This week Aubrey, Livia and I spent the day in Boothbay Harbor and Pemequid with my mom, sister and two of my aunts. We had a great time together and enjoyed the beautiful coast of Maine. I was glad that the weather was nice and we could enjoy it.

Camp this week included a trip to Blackbeard's Family Fun Park in Bangor. Both Aubrey and Payton enjoyed the go-karts and mini-golf and can't wait to go back there. It was our first time there but, know that it won't be our last.

Payton loved it. Can you tell???

We have Livia with us for one more week. She has been a wonderful addition to our family and we will all be sad when she leaves next weekend. We have made great memories with her and hope that someday our paths will cross again.
